Deck Builder in Cape May County

New decks and full deck replacements, built with durable materials made for shore weather.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

It depends on the size, materials, height off the ground, and whether the old deck needs to be torn out. Composite costs more upfront than pressure-treated wood but needs less upkeep. We give free estimates so you get a real number for your home, not a rough range.

Do you tear out the old deck?

Yes. Depending on the case, we could demo the old deck, haul it away, and rebuild with new framing and decking. We sometimes keeps good framing.

Should I choose composite or wood decking?

Wood costs less to install but needs regular sealing or staining and can splinter and rot over time. Composite costs more upfront but doesn’t need staining, resists rot, and holds up well to salt air and sun. We’re happy to show you both options and help you pick what fits your budget and how you use your space.

Can you replace just the railing or stairs instead of the whole deck?
Yes, if the main structure is still in good shape. We’ll inspect it and tell you honestly whether a repair or upgrade will do the job or whether a full replacement makes more sense.

Do I need a permit to build or replace a deck in Cape May County?
Yes. We’re a licensed and insured NJ contractor, HIC ##13VH12300000.
